Cos'è il test Antiphospholipid Antibodies
The Antiphospholipid Antibodies (aPL) test is a laboratory analysis that evaluates the presence in the blood of specific antibodies directed against phospholipids and their associated plasma proteins. The presence of these antibodies is linked to Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), an autoimmune condition that can increase the risk of thrombosis and obstetric complications, such as recurrent miscarriage, preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction.
